The beer’s unusual name comes from outreach & ministry happening in the Whitehall Community!
The origin of Taco Pump began in a conversation between 2 Tones Brewing and Rev. Daniel W. Hille of Faith Lutheran Church as a way to support their free, monthly, community meal that serves adults and children in Whitehall.
The question was, how can we work together to pump funds into Taco Sunday… and the answer was Taco Pump.
Proceeds from every pint of Taco Pump sold are donated to Faith’s “Taco Sunday Community Meal Program”
Taco pump is a beer, but it is also much, much more. It is a statement of solidarity and pride in the Whitehall community. It is the simple yet powerful reality of a brewery, and a church, working together to feed members of the community.
